Verifying Voter Eligibility
To vote in Minnesota, you must be:
A citizen of the United States
At least 18 years old on Election Day
A resident of Minnesota for 20 days
Finished with all parts of any felony sentence
Not under guardianship status in which a judge has removed your right to vote
Registering to Vote
Before you can vote, you must be registered to vote with your current name and at your current address.
You are not required to register before election day, but it is best to take care of this step in advance and register before election day if you are able to.
To register to vote on election day, you must show proof of identification and residence.

Voting opens on September 23, 2022
Registered voters can either vote by mail or in person.
